IWC Schaffhausen is a brand with a long and very storied past. With a factory built near the Rhine Falls to harness the power of the river back in 1868, IWC has created many an iconic timepiece over the years, ranging from its famed Mark series of pilot watches to the oversized Portuguieser, DaVinci and Portofino. Long known as a brand “Engineered for Men,” IWC made a bold and daring move just over a year ago when it unveiled its Portofino Midsize watch — dedicated to thinner wrists. While they didn’t come out and call the line a woman’s watch, it is, in fact, perfect for the feminine wrist at 37mm in diameter and with top-notch mechanics inside.
This year, to further underscore the devotion to women with the Portofino 37, IWC has aligned with the chic design team (Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne) of Public School, also originally known for its menswear collections and recently launched lines for women, too.
IWC watches have been spotted on Public School’s runways for several seasons. Now, to celebrate the new Portofino 37 collection, these two top-name brands have even created a series of three videos that depict modern looks (from sporty to professional and nighttime) for today’s women. We invite you in to check out our collection of IWC 37 watches.
