While Fall 2016 Fashion Week is happening around the world, the rest of us are gearing up for springtime. Looking back on the Spring 2016 runway shows and even on this year’s red carpet, we have seen one trend in particular that remains constant; the statement earring. The runway showed many different styles from colorful, to Gothic, to modern, but one thing ran true for all; the ears are where it’s at this spring.
Check out our favorite ear adornments from the runway and pieces to add to your spring wardrobe.
Rodarte captured the spirit of the 70s and 80s with a whimsical twist in a lace and sequin fantasy world. This look in particular reminded us of an edgy bohemian queen as they accented this dress with big, intricate gold earrings and a gold floral headpiece.
Alexander McQueen showcased a more feminine side with the whole collection giving an air of romanticism. Inspired by old-world artisans and the concept of heirloom, the designer paired looks with antique -looking earrings that worked perfectly with this classic meets sexy lace look.
Gucci amped up their spring collection with a punch of color and big, gratuitous accessories. Brooches, big sparkly glasses, pearl punched shoes and large jewelry completed these 70s “geek-chic” looks for a collection sure to inspire many spring style choices.
Dolce & Gabbana took us on a trip around the world exploring different styles while staying true to themselves with proper embroidery and embellishment. These incredible floral earrings in particular made us want to dance the night away on a tropical island.
